Oh, Wyrm! V0.2.0 Changelog


I think it's finally time to call it a new version! V0.2.0 feels like an entirely different game from when the MVP launched, boasting all new sound effects, overhauled movement, a completely new visual style, and many new mechanics. I've almost forgot I can change more than just one version number!

What's New? 

- MANY new SFX, including replacements for UI interactions and footsteps, as well as ambience/music and landing sounds!

- The reticle changes based on whether or not the object youre pointing at can be grappled to

- Added a "floor" to the level which will teleport you back to your spawn point should you fall under the map


Changes:

- Many modifications to the grapple gun, with intent of increasing gameplay choices (this will help make way for new additions in the future)

     - Includes reduced max range, but increased projectile speed

     - Also limited the kinds of objects that can be grappled to, to only solid (stone) obstacles, and returns the hook should it hit something it cant latch onto.

     - The grapple hook projectile no longer moves with the camera, instead being its own projectile and following a path determined at the moment the grapple is fired

- Cim now tells you how to view the achievements drawer!


Bug fixes: 

- Fixed issues with shadow render distance

- Movement speed no longer changes depending on framerate (lol)
